Homemade Ginger Ale

The first herbal drink I ever made.

My journey began with this recipe. Hot and warming to the throat and gut, this ginger ale can be created with various herbal infusion teas. Plus, you get the added benefit of of a healthy drink.

Tip

You can use more than 2 fresh ginger roots if you prefer a more pungent taste.  Also, feel free to use an infusion tea besides lemon juice to create a tastier, flavorful ginger ale.  It’s Octoberfest, Green Thumper! Explore, Create, and Innovate to your heart’s content.

My Story

This was one of the first herbal recipes that I made when I started my herbal journey. It was the spring of my final year in pharmacy school. I could still remember the chill in the air of the cold winter morning. After reading about ginger syrup, I decided to make a simple ginger ale. When I was done, I shared some with my LandLady. She loved the ginger ale. And so did I.
